Skill Development Center
In the synchronization with ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat mission’ of government, Utthan foundation is committed to equip the rural youth and tribal women of our society to uplift there livelihood.
Our trust has already started providing skills to tribal women to make wall hangings and different types of mats which is also the ODOP product of Ghazipur District.
It has also encouraged and helped people to start the manufacturing of paper based plates and bowls which was traditionally manufactured by musahar community with leaves.
Trust has helped an associated community (bansfor) to manufacture bamboo baskets and bowls and in promoting the product.
Sewing and computer centers in different villages are operating by our organization to provide skills to young boys, girls and women.
we are working forward to provide skills in more fields to the rural youth under our skill development center
Hostel
For the last 20 years we are trying our best to educate the tribal children at different levels. Our three major levels to work in the field of education includes enrolling them at primary level in different schools , reducing dropout rates among children while attending school and after completing school and we also promote and support young boys and girls to attend higher education like politecnic, b.com etc.
Utthan foundation has started ‘Awadh Bihari Chattrawas’ in which 16 students have been selected from 5 neighboring districts. They are successfully enrolled in a prestigious school and are provided with all the facilities including food and stay.
